For nearly two decades, has been the industry’s most powerful online sourcing engine for America’s packaging distributors. In fact, over the years you asked us to add dozens of new products. We did. So, why change it? Here’s the thing: wasn’t built for the many and disparate specification inputs of what became 130+ product subcategories. For the newer and more complex additions, it sometimes provided a less intuitive sourcing experience. Enter 3.0.

Products are now more discoverable. In the past, when we asked customers why they had not turned to Laddawn for a specific product, the number one answer was, “I didn’t know you sold those!” 3.0 features a more B2C-like product menu. Now, you can find what you need at a glance.

Products are easier to specify. Adding new product options in the old design made it harder to build some items with confidence. 3.0 features simple, category specific product builders. Now, you can build
even the most complex industrial packaging item quickly and confidently.

We also constructed with a more agile architecture. This allows the site to cascade or right-size for smaller screens. It’s more responsive. It looks and functions great on smartphones. If you’ve not
logged on 3.0 yet, what are you waiting for?

Finally, there is news to share on pricing. Today, as the U.S. economy emerges from the economic effects of COVID-19, America’s packaging manufacturers are finding stiff competition for domestically produced resin. The oversupply that sustained lower prices this spring evaporated quickly in the summer months. Now, with pricing power squarely back in the hands of North America’s resin producers, prices for blown film grades of low and linear low-density polyethylene have risen substantially.

On the import item front, we continue to leverage our diverse global manufacturing partner network to help provide more favorable pricing. However, resin price escalation is not limited to U.S. resin consumers. Additionally, as businesses around the world reopen, robust demand for ocean freight is driving those costs up, too.

Prices on all Laddawn stock items in this catalog have increased by 5%.

We are pleased to note that pricing for Armor Protective Packaging’s stock items have not changed.

On behalf of all of us in Atlanta, Boston, Cedar Rapids, Devens, Dallas and Reno, thank you for your business.
