In 2005, we improved our position in global sourcing. Reclosables were our top priority. We secured new vendor partnerships, lowered costs and acquired a broader offering. Since then, growth in the category has outpaced just about every other. Last year, nearly two thousand distributors placed over ninety thousand orders for reclosable bags with us. It’s amazing, really.
Now, we’re becoming your preferred supplier for custom reclosables, too. This year, nearly thirty thousand times, America’s packaging distributors will turn to Laddawn for custom items we don’t make. Custom and Printed Reclosables will lead the way. Distributor sourcing professionals will log on to Laddawn.com to get pricing and lead times in seconds on custom Zipper and Slider Tops and Tamper Evident, Amber, Static Shielding and Antistatic bags with zipper closures.
Here is even better news: beginning this month, we’re pleased to provide even more competitive prices and shorter lead times on all Laddawn Custom and Printed Reclosables. Of course, it’s all backed with the same custom order guarantee you’ve come to expect from Laddawn. If you haven’t sourced Printed and Custom Reclosables on Laddawn.com lately, log on and take a fresh look. You’ll like what you see.
At the heart of it all is the extraordinary sourcing experience provided by Laddawn.com, including the one and only Print Designer. Whether an item is made or sourced, stock or custom, printed or unprinted, that sourcing experience is exactly the same. In every case, Laddawn.com provides pricing and lead times in seconds, shareable to customers or colleagues for sales that close faster.
Finally, in the North American polyethylene market, the news is mixed. Cost relief from the resin capacity gains we’ve all anticipated remains just out of reach. Domestic producers continue to control production tightly as export markets and logistics become available. It’s likely that enhanced global price competition will bring downward pressure on the North American resin market eventually. For now, we don’t expect much in the way of resin cost changes through the summer months.
On behalf of all of us in Atlanta, Boston, Cedar Rapids, Dallas and Reno,
thank you for your business.
